ADVANCED ACUPUNCTURE COURSE 241:

Peripheral Nerve Entrapment Syndromes

Learn to accurately diagnose and effectively treat nerve compression syndromes
with advanced clinical strategies drawn from both Eastern and Western medicine.

Unlock the Power of Precision Diagnosis for Nerve Entrapments

Peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes (PNES) are among the most underdiagnosed yet treatable causes of chronic pain and functional loss. In this course, you'll explore the anatomy, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of compressive neuropathies affecting the upper and lower limbs, pelvis, and trunk. Through detailed case studies, physical exam techniques, and modern diagnostic tools, you’ll learn how to differentiate between similar syndromes and apply targeted interventions such as acupuncture, dry needling, mobilization, and electrodiagnostic support. Whether you treat athletes, post-surgical patients, or chronic pain sufferers, this training will transform your approach to nerve-related dysfunctions.

About

Restore Function. Relieve Pain. Improve Lives.

Envision guiding patients toward recovery from conditions like piriformis syndrome, carpal tunnel, or foot drop—with confidence. By understanding the exact anatomical and biomechanical causes of entrapments, you'll deliver treatments that not only reduce pain but restore full functional capacity.

Here's What You'll Learn

Strengthen your diagnostic accuracy and treatment precision for nerve entrapment syndromes across the body’s key anatomical regions.

Identify Key Sites of Nerve Entrapment

Learn to locate common and uncommon compression points in the limbs, pelvis, and trunk.

Differentiate Between Radiculopathy and Neuropathy

Apply clinical pearls to distinguish between spinal nerve root issues and peripheral nerve involvement.

Master Evaluation Techniques

Use physical examination, Tinel’s sign, provocative testing, and functional assessments to confirm entrapment.

Apply Effective Treatment Modalities

Implement acupuncture, dry needling, manual therapy, and patient-specific rehab for each entrapment site.

Interpret Diagnostic Imaging and Electrodiagnostic Results

Understand how to use EMG, MRI, and nerve conduction studies to confirm clinical suspicions.

Analyze Real-World Case Studies

Work through practical diagnostic scenarios involving conditions like carpal tunnel, meralgia paresthetica, and pudendal neuralgia.
