About the Course

This program provides doctors, doctoral/professional students, and other licensed health care professionals the opportunity to learn the technique of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) adjunctive therapies in levels of progression. Each level incorporates classroom and laboratory practicum to advance the attendee’s acupuncture knowledge and clinical application skills. The first 100 hours offers an overview and basic training in acupuncture theory, techniques and traditional Chinese medical adjunctive therapies. Each program level must be completed in its entirety, along with successful completion of all examinations.

Each of the four sessions within the bundle must successfully be completed in its entirety with a passing score on both written and the practical final examinations to gain the certification. The hours for the 100-hour section are broken down as 80 hours of live instruction and 22 hours of online instruction totally 102 hours.

Prior to each live, in-person course, you'll be required to complete an online course module between 4-6hrs in length.  Within each module is a series of video lectures and quizzes to test your knowledge and mastery of the content.  You must complete the online coursework AND attend all in-person courses to complete the program.

This course is specifically for licensed healthcare providers who have the ability to perform acupuncture within their scope of practice.  It is the responsibility of each practitioner to understand the rules and regulations regarding acupuncture within their state license.  When in doubt, questions should be directed to your state licensing board.
